Crop Walk 2012
Our 23rd Annual Crop Walk will be held Sunday, May 6th!
Crop Walks are held around the USA, and benefit hunger programs around the world thru Church World Service Hunger Programs.
25% of what is raised locally is given to the Des Moines Area Food Bank. Please join in with other area churches, and churches around the USA, in support of Crop Walk.

Who is Clive Rainey?Clive joined Habitat for Humanity in 1977, only one year after its founding. Since his early volunteer work in Americus, Clive has been a steadfast champion for Habitat and its mission at home and abroad. He was HFHI’s first director in Africa and has raised awareness and resources for Habitat’s work worldwide as HFHI’s Director of Community Relations. In July 2010, Clive “retired” to Guatemala where he continues to engage in volunteer commitments towards ending homelessness.

Emerald City Ringers is a nonprofit, non-auditioned, community based choir of handbell musicians, directed by Brian Tervo, which will present two concerts this May titled Life's A Happy Song. The varied repertoire will delight concert goers of all ages with the recognizable tunes of Life's A Happy Song, The Rainbow Connection, The Muppet Show Theme and Mah Na Mah Na, as well as classical pieces and more. Both concerts will present a unique and fun opportunity for participation by children.
